Hello everybody! Been a while since I blogged any oF my recipes because there haven't been any fancy cooking in my household lately. But I still want to make some time to post some recipes and I will at least try to post one recipe per week. Next couple of weeks are totally jam packed for me but I consider blogging as my stress buster and hoping to blog a few of my favorite recipes soon.

Pancakes are normally made on weekends to enjoy those relaxed breakfasts. I tend to do more of pancakes because my lil one enjoys eating them as well. It is very easy everyday recipe and one can never go wrong. Whenever I see a pancake mix in the store, it hurts me deep inside. What? really? dude, you really have people buying those mix tins? It is officially the easiest breakfast to make. Anyways, I thought I might share my version of it here.

Ingredients:

1. All purpose flour - 1 cup

2. Egg - 1

3. Salt - 1/4 tsp

4. Sugar - 1 tbsp

5. Baking Powder - 1 tsp

5. Milk - 3/4 cup

6. Maple syrup or chocolate - a drizzle

7. Fruits of your choice - 1 cup

Instructions:

1. Take a mixing bowl and put in all the dry ingredients like flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make use of a balloon whisk and mix thoroughly. Now add the egg to it.

2. Gradually add the milk , slowly whisking away the lumps.

3. Place a pan in medium flame and scoop a ladle of pancake batter to it.

4. When the edges start to look like its cooked, then its time to flip the other side and cook for another 30 seconds or so.

5. Build one pancake on the other and garnish with a blob of butter on the top. Drizzle some maple syrup over it.

6. Serve it with a range of fruits for a complete breakfast.

If you try them, do let me know how it turned out. This recipe is mainly for those who are dependent on the store bought pancake mix because you can make them on your own in a jiffy.
